The information that follows was provided by a judge at the Honourable State Superior Court in Acatlan (Honorable Tribunal Superior de Justicia del Estado) in Acatlan, State of Puebla, during a 22 July 2003 telephone interview.

The Tribunal Superior de Justicia is the institution to which district courts belong; judges are attached to those courts and work under (or for) the Tribunal Superior de Justicia. Carlos Guillermo Ramirez Rodriguez is a judge for the state of Puebla; he was a judge at a court in the district of Acatlan (and thus serving under the Tribunal Superior de Justicia at Acatlan), approximately from 1996 or 1997 to 1999 or 2000. However, in 2002 judge Ramirez Rodriguez served at the Tehuacan district of Puebla, and continues to serve there at present.
