Reports on cases of retaliation or fear of retaliation against those who were released as part of the military amnesty decreed by President Menem from those who actively participated in trying to keep them in prison could not be found among the sources currently available to the IRBDC.

As requested by your office in a telephone communication with the IRBDC on 18 June 1990, please find attached a copy of "Argentines oppose military amnesty", from Latinamerica Press of 10 May 1990, pages 1 and 8.
