A journalist and radio personality called José Luis Cocotle from Zongolica, Veracruz State, copies of any articles he has written and whether he was published in La Jornada newspaper in Mexico City (1994 to present) [MEX29105.E]

In a 6 April 1998 telephone interview with the Research Directorate, an employee at Radio Difusora Cultural Indigenista in Zongolica, Veracruz, stated that José Luis Cocotle is a radio announcer (locutor) with the organization and has worked there for three years. The employee was uncertain whether Cocotle had written articles for the La Jornada, but stated that he had written some articles for an indigenous cultural magazine called Calmecac. The employee stated further that Cocotle was currently on vacation.

Attempts to obtain articles written by José Luis Cocotle from La Jornada newspaper and the Radio Difusora Cultura Indigenista were unsucessful within the time constraints of this Response to Information Request.
