No information on the treatment by the Iranian Embassy in New Delhi, of Iranian citizens perceived as opponents to the Iranian government, nor of any links between the Iranian Embassy in New Delhi and the Iranian Cultural House in New Delhi, could be found among the sources consulted by the Research Directorate.

However, The Sunday Tribune described, in a 12 March 2000 article, an exhibition of manuscripts from the Koran on display at the Iranian Cultural House in New Delhi. There is also mention in a 1992 Xinhua report of an Iranian Cultural House in Bombay (9 Dec. 1992).
