Members of the Citizens for Human Rights Movement (CHRM) Thambirajan and Ramasamy are subjected to police abuse; they were involved in the exposing of corrupt practices by a local Panchayat President; 3 relatives of Ramasamy who tried to help him as he was attacked were put in judicial custody
