Information on a human rights bulletin with the above-mentioned name could not be found among the sources currently available to the DIRB.

The coordinator of the Ecumenical Movement for Human Rights in Mendoza stated that her organization, which has been operating in Mendoza since 1973, has no record of a bulletin with the name given in your information request (26 May 1994). The coordinator added that her own organization published Palabra del Pueblo (Word of the People), a short-lived popular education bulletin that ceased publication in 1990 because of funding problems (ibid.).

A 1982 news article refers to a newspaper called La Voz del Pueblo (The Voice of the People), describing it as a local publication from Tres Arroyos, which is located some 500 kms south of Buenos Aires (AP 7 May 1982).

This response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the DIRB within time constraints. This response is not, and does not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular claim to refugee status or asylum.
