Information on the personal information a Registrar is required to obtain from a couple before issuing them a marriage certificate and on whether this information can be approximate; on whether the Registrar requires the original birth certificates of the couple; and on the perception of the authorities and general public regarding the accuracy of information provided on a marriage certificate could not be found among the sources consulted by the Research Directorate.
