Pakistan Car Bomb Targets Security Forces
At least two Pakistani security personnel have been killed in a suicide explosion in a restive northwestern tribal area bordering Afghanistan.
Pakistani officials said two other soldiers were wounded when the suicide bomber rammed a car packed with explosives into a military convoy in Wana, the largest town in the tribal area of South Waziristan.
No one claimed responsibility for the attack.
The regions of South and North Waziristan are considered a bastion of militants affiliated with the Taliban, Al-Qaeda, and allied extremist movements.
