Whether Dr. Ivan Molina Ochoa is or has recently been a presidential advisor, a high-ranking official of the Public Education Secretariat, or a high-ranking member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) [MEX31480.E]

During a telephone interview on 11 March 1999, staff of the coordinator of advisors to the Presidency of Mexico stated that Dr. Ivan Molina Ochoa is not registered as an advisor to the Presidency.

The central information desks at both the national and the Federal District offices of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) stated during 11 March 1999 telephone interviews that Dr. Ivan Molina Ochoa is not registered as occupying a post in the national or the Federal District organizations of the PRI; he is not a member of a committee or an official or delegate at a section of either branch of the PRI. Both offices indicated that general party membership rosters and historic records of delegates or committee memberships were not available for public consultation.

The organizational directory of the PRI does not list an Ivan Molina Ochoa among the staff or members of the national PRI committees and organizations (PRI 1999).

Both the office of the Secretary (Minister) of Public Education and the personnel office of the Public Education Secretariat stated during 11 March 1999 telephone interviews that Dr. Ivan Molina Ochoa is not registered as a high-ranking official of the Secretariat, and has not been one of the highest ranking officials (oficial mayor) of the Secretariat at least during the Zedillo administration. The personnel office of the Secretariat stated that historic records of the Secretariat's staff are not available for public consultation.
