An incident in August 1997 when the village of Adeamra, near Yeji [Yedji] was seized by Konkombas; whether Gonjas were killed, reaction of government authorities, whether peace has been restored [GHA30217.E]

The Research Directorate was unable to find any reference to, or ascertain the precise location of, the village of Adeamra. Yeji is located in Central Ghana in the Brong Ahafo Region (Tourist Map of Ghana 1973). No mention of the seizure of a village by Konkombas in August 1997 could be found among the sources consulted by the Research Directorate.

This Response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the Research Directorate within time constraints.
