Chechen President Leads Raid On Militants

Local officials in Chechnya say at least 11 militants have been killed in security operations in Chechnya since August 17, including four killed in a nighttime raid led by Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov.
Kadyrov said he commanded the raid on a building in the Chechen capital Grozny where security forces also seized weapons and explosives.
Kadyrov said seven other militants were killed in an operation in the mountainous south of the republic.
