A 26 December 1998 article, providing a chronology of sectarian incidents in Punjab in 1998, reported from Gujranwala the killing of Hakim Syed Razi Abbas, mutawalli of Imambargah Haidria, at his clinic at Krishan Nagar, Model Town (Dawn).
No further references to Imambargah Haidria or any references to a mosque or Imam Bargah named Haidria Imambargah could be found among the sources consulted by the Research Directorate.
