Relationship between SAVAK and regular police forces, circa 1960s. [IRN5100]

Attached please find a copy of the response to Information Request #IRN3785 which includes all of the documentation currently available to the IRBDC on SAVAK. This documentation stresses that SAVAK was a "political police force under military officers" and further states that the Shah "had to depend on the state's repressive agencies - SAVAK, police and military - to maintain himself in power."
