Information on the Arbitration and Complaints Department in Accra and on who the head of this department was from 1985 to the present [GHA13485]

According to a consular officer at the High Commission of Ghana in Ottawa, the government of Ghana does not have a separate arbitration and complaints department (24 Mar. 1993). Rather, it is the ombudsman's office that receives complaints from citizens, investigates their complaints and follows up on procedural matters (Ibid.). The role of the ombudsman is enshrined in the new constitution of Ghana (Ibid.).

Additional or corroborating information is currently unavailable to the DIRB in Ottawa.
