At Least One Dead In Rocket Attack On Kabul

Afghan police say at least three rockets have been fired into Kabul, killing at least one man and wounding three others.

Police said the rockets landed in the Afghan capital early on November 13, near a private television station and close to an office area used by the Afghan intelligence service.

It was the first attack in Kabul since September, when a suicide car bomber targeted foreign workers, killing at least eight South Africans and four Afghan civilians.

The latest rocket attacks were a reminder of Afghanistan's security challenges as most NATO combat troops prepare to withdraw at the end of 2014.
