However, attached please find two brief reports by the Sri Lanka
Information Monitor (INFORM) in Colombo which may be of interest.
The organization reported that on 2 August 1995, a Liberation
Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) leader posing as a Sinhalese was
arrested and that on 15 March 1995, a Sinhalese and a Tamil were
arrested at Kelanitissa electricity building for taking photographs
(Sri Lanka Information Monitor: Situation Report Aug. 1995,
1; ibid. Mar. 1995, 2).
This Response was prepared after
researching publicly accessible information currently available to
the DIRB within time constraints. This Response is not, and does
