A representative of a non-governmental human rights organization called Hot Line Bangladesh in Dhaka is not aware of any women's group called Annanya (25 June 1996). According to the representative, the only group whose name resembles the above-mentioned women's group is Anannah Sangstha, which is a group promoting child education.
