Information on a women's organization called Annanya, and whether it supported the Nirmul Committee in 1992 [BGD24270.E]

Information on the above-mentioned topic could not be found among the sources consulted by the DIRB. However, the following information may be useful.

A representative of a non-governmental human rights organization called Hot Line Bangladesh in Dhaka is not aware of any women's group called Annanya (25 June 1996). According to the representative, the only group whose name resembles the above-mentioned women's group is Anannah Sangstha, which is a group promoting child education.
