Information on sanctions for desertion or draft evasion from military service. [AGO9243]

Please find the attached information on this topic. A cease-fire accord was established in the beginning of June 1991 and a revised Constitution (see the following Amnesty International publication) was introduced. Information on the current consequences of these events and on the sanctions for desertion or draft evasion from military service is currently unavailable to the IRBDC in Ottawa.
