Georgian Prosecutors Summon Saakashvili For Questioning

Georgian prosecutors have summoned former President Mikheil Saakashvili to be questioned as a witness for a second time in four months.
Georgia’s Prosecutor-General’s Office says Saakashvili should appear before investigators in Tbilisi at 1100 local time on July 28.
Saakashvili left Georgia late last year, after his second presidential term expired.
He was first summoned for questioning as a witness in March 2014.
The former president said he will not return home to be questioned over the death of his prime minister in 2005 and other cases.
Prosecutors have filed charges against several of Saakashvili's allies.
His supporters see the criminal cases as political revenge.
