Dozens Killed In Nigeria Blast

Nigerian police say at least 71 people have been killed and 124 injured in at least one explosion at a bus station on the outskirts of the capital, Abuja.

The explosion took place on the morning of April 14 as hundreds of people were traveling to work.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility.

Suspicion is likely to fall on the Islamist militant group Boko Haram, which is blamed for scores of attacks across northern and central Nigeria.

The Islamic militants claimed responsibility for a 2011 suicide bombing involving two explosives-laden cars that drove into the lobby of the United Nations office building in Abuja.

It killed more than 20 people.
