Information provided by the military attaché at the Embassy of the Republic of Hungary in Ottawa during an 18 March 2002 telephone interview indicated that while military bases in Budapest do not have a medical wing as such, each base has a small medical unit that can treat minor problems. Other cases are treated at the Central Military Hospital, which is operated by the military (ibid.).
