One injured in Baghdad explosion

The Iraqi news agency says an explosion in Baghdad on Tuesday night injured one person and damaged some houses.

Iraq said Iran was responsible for the attack.

Correspondents say tension between Iraq and Iran has risen in the last few weeks because of cross-border attacks by the Iranian opposition group, the Mujahideen, which is based in Iraq.

In the past, Iran has retaliated by launching strikes against what it says are Mujahideen positions in Iraq.
