Al - Ahram weekly
Al - Ahram is the oldest newspaper in the Arab and Third world, and one of the oldest papers in the world (founded in 1875) with headquarters in Cairo. Since its inception, Al-Ahram has covered events from an Arab national perspective and it has always been a forum for expressing the views and ideas of leading Arab intellectuals and opinion-makers, and through which they could convey the concerns and aspirations of the great Arab nation. Al-Ahram daily is published only in Arabic, but Al-Ahram weekly is English-language summary of week events. It contains not only news, but also opinions and interviews. Language: English.

Egypt State Information Service (SIS) is an agency of the Ministry of Information with headquarters in Cairo and its network of 64 domestic and 32 international media offices. It is the nation's main informational, awareness and public relations agency. There can be found general information about Egypt on its website (including maps and administrative division of the country into 27 governorates), then information about politics - political system, political parties, constitution, elections, human rights (including relevant parts of the constitution, list of international and human rights agreements accepted by Egypt, major human rights organizations operating in Egypt), society – description of health care, social care and educational system, women in politics, society and institutions. Egyptian Organization for Human Rights
The Egyptian Organization for Human Rights is a non-profitable NGO founded in 1985 with its headquarters in Cairo and 17 provincial branches throughout Egypt. It is part of the International and Arab human rights movement and cooperates with the United Nations and its bodies concerned with human rights. Land Centre for Human Rights
Land Centre for Human Rights is a non – profit NGO that monitors and fight for rights of rural people in Egypt, farmers in particular. Farmers’ issue represents an important dimension for the Human Rights movement in Egypt for several reasons, such as inadequacy of a legislative structure to protect agrarian laborers (in consequence, they are exposed to daily violations, the main targeted categories are women, children and permanent or seasonal agrarian laborers), widening gap between urban and rural Egypt, violations that the female rural laborers are exposed to domestically or at work, increasing phenomenon of child labor in Egypt and of the rate of illiteracy.
