"Médecins Sans Frontières is a humanitarian emergency aid organisation whose mandate is to
provide medical relief assistance to populations in acute danger. MSF Holland has been
operational in Sudan since 1985. Present projects include curative and preventative health
programmes in two displaced areas in Khartoum state, Kala Azar treatment centres is Um el
Kher and Kassab in Gedaref State, Bednet distribution project in Gedaref State and a Hospital
Support Project in Wau, Bahr Al Ghazal. MSF Holland is planning to begin operations in
Bentiu, Unity State and West Darfur."
