Afghanistan Liberation Organisation – ALO Founded 1980 by Dr. Faiz Ahmad as new, to the changed situation adapted alternative to the “Revolutionary Group of the Peoples of Afghanistan” Members: apparently mainly former “Shulayis” [flamists] resp. members of the “Revolutionary Group” Ideology: main objective of the party is the anti-Soviet national liberation war, demonstrated in the manifest "Mash'al-i Rihayi" [The Beacon of Emancipation]
