General Internet Research
General internet research contains links to search engines as well as portals and databases providing specific information relevant for country of origin researches.
News and Media Reports
This section offers links to German, English and French language press agencies, newspapers and journals.
Organisations
This chapter provides links to United Nations and other international organisations, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), government departments working in the field of asylum and refugee protection, European and non-European regional organisations as well as academic institutions.
Topic Centered Information
This section features links to sites with a focus on general human rights issues, ethnic groups and minorities, religion, women, children, sexual orientation, refugees and displaced persons, crises, conflicts and security, humanitarian situation, health issues, general country information as well as maps and geography.
Legal Information
Legal information contains links to national legislation and jurisdiction as well as to international laws and jurisdiction.

Compendium of COI Sources by UK Home Office
The sources have been compiled by the UK COI Service on a country by country basis from contributions provided by Australia, Belgium, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Sweden, the UK, USA, and also ecoi.net.
These sources have been recommended by established COI research units and compiled as an aid for researchers. The sources can be used as a useful starting point by both new researchers, and those researching unfamiliar countries.
